September 17, 1969: Doors open to first entering class!
1971: First class of 169 graduates
1973: Foundation is established
1974: Middle States Accreditation
1978: Construction of Begley Library, Lecture Hall (Auditorium), Music Dept.
1981: Induction of first students as Charter Members of PTK
1982: Developmental Studies Unit is organized, Learning Center opens
1984: Music program is accredited by National Association of Schools of Music
1987: Center for Science and Technology opens
1992: $11 million campus development project completed (Biology, Geology, Culinary Arts Labs, Restaurant, 15 classrooms, Cafeteria, College Store, student lounge, pedestrian bridge)
1993: Culinary Arts Program, Paralegal Program, Business Programs accredited
2000: Gateway Building opens; Construction on Stockade Building begins
2002: First classes held in new Stockade building; County Legislature endorses Campus Master Plan expansion
2007: $6.3M Culinary Arts Addition completed
2008: County announces plans for $3.9M music wing addition
2011: Center City opens for classes and housing of Criminal Justice Program
2012: New music wing added to Begley Hall
2014: HPOG Grant begins for new health care program majors
2015: Dr. Steady Moono becomes College President; Kindl Building opens; Beverage Management and Nanoscale Technology programs introduced
2017: New Biotech program begins on the new 6th floor of Elston Hall
2019: Foundation launches $2.5 million capital campaign; Construction begins on new Learning Commons
