Strategic Plan: 2021-2026

SUNY Schenectady’s new Strategic Plan, Many Voices, One Call 2021-2026, is a reflection of a collective effort by members of the College community and supporters of the College to create a comprehensive plan as the College moves forward over the next five years. From December 2019 through December 2020, through focus groups, surveys, and discussions, members of the College (students, faculty, staff, administrators, Board of Trustees, and alumni) and community (K-12 partners, community organizations, donors, businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals on academic advisory committees) provided input for the 33-member Strategic Planning Committee as it worked to build the plan, consulting with Campus Works. Many Voices, One Call represents the culmination of this inclusive process.

Guided by four Pillars of Success, the new strategic plan includes a new Mission Statement, a new Vision Statement and a Student Experience Statement. Many Voices, One Call outlines how the College can fully realize its objectives, while positively impacting the lives of thousands of students, as the College continues to strengthen the surrounding community.
