ADA Scheduled Exam Procedures

What do I do if I am a student with a disability?

Registered with the office of ADA Transition Services for accommodations, but confused about how to get started with scheduling an exam? You’re in luck! We have all the answers right here.

Step 1

  • Complete our online Appointment Request form.
  • Or, if you prefer to fill-in a paper copy, complete the ADA Testing Appointment form and drop off or email it to the Testing Center at testingcenter@sunysccc.edu
  • Scheduling 3-4 days in advance is encouraged, especially if using a reader or wishing to use our distraction-reduced space.
  • If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so as soon as possible. You can email us at testingcenter@sunysccc.edu or call us at 518-381-1293.

Step 2

  • Fill out the top portion of the ADA Exam Coversheet. If you scheduled your appointment online, you will receive a confirmation email with the coversheet attached.
  • Give the coversheet to your instructor so they are aware of your appointment and drop off your exam to the Testing Center.

Step 3

  • Relax and study!
  • Show up for your appointment on time (Elston 427)
