Staff Attendance Procedure
In all instances, staff should exercise their own best judgment about whether they are able to safely get to campus. Administrative decisions regarding delays and/or closures are based upon the best available weather data at the time.
If the College is open and classes are canceled, staff are expected to report. If staff are unable to report, they must notify their supervisor and charge the missed time to applicable paid leave (e.g., vacation, personal or floating holidays).
If offices are closed and a part-time staff was scheduled to work, the part-time staff will get paid for their scheduled shift.
If the campus has a delayed opening of 11 a.m. or later, a lunch break is not taken.
If the College closes, all staff who received advance approval for time off must charge the type of leave previously approved
